Classically trained at UC Berkeley, writing/directing at N.Y.U. & studying acting with acclaimed Larry Moss, Sandy enjoys the sweetspot where activism meets entertainment.

I come from centuries of military personnel in my family, and have family currently serving. It is my honor to bring laughter, tickling funny bones in warzones on many military comedy tours entertaining troops in Afghanistan, Kuwait, Bosnia, Kosovo, Sarajevo, Krygystan, Germany, Okinawa, Iraq and more.
Once, during our meeting with the troops, a soldier came through the crowd and said, “Thanks for coming out and doing the show. You made me forget where I was.”

We travel by Bird (heliocopters), the only way to reach some of the fire bases, avoiding road dangers. It is incredible to experience the synergy between pilots & flight gunner teams through maneuvers in flight by day and by night.

After the military show we had cultural exchange of dinner and then demonstrated to each other various dances to music from each others countries, ending with a sort of ‘conga line’ under moon and stars. Dance helps heals the spirit
